RIPTA BRAND REFRESH

As our very last assignment in our main graphic design studio, my cohort of junior graphic design students at RISD were assigned an open project relating to non-car transportation in collaboration with the local organization PUN (Providence Urbanist Network). This was a group project where I collaborated with peers Sophie Feng and Jyot Thind.

Non-car infrastructure is a topic I'm very passionate about, so I pitched the idea to our group to apply a refresh/update to the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) navigation system and visual language. We wanted to pitch a solution that felt realistic and familiar, but still fun and inviting. By repurposing preexisting assets and combining them with our own, we were able to achieve our concept.
